I cranked out this sweet little pair of socks when we were down in WA in March, being very clear to everyone that they were not for me. They were leftovers from yarn I used to make a sweater for my sweet nephew, many, many years ago. The yarn was a dream to work with then and now. And someday I will remember the name of it.
I paired them with a flannel blanket for Niwt's nephew who brought his parents up to Alaska for a visit. It was very nice of him. We met up with them at a sushi restaurant. We didn't share our sake with him. He is cute and sweet and his mama loved the presents, always a bonus. And the socks still fit him.
